Jusino Insurance Services and Baby Camillah in the news!

With the newest fundraising campaign in their community involvement program, Jusino Insurance Services of Chicago, IL, is pitching in to provide a wheelchair accessible van for a local baby girl dealing with a host of health challenges. The family struggles with safe transportation to her numerous therapy and doctor appointments, since doing so without a properly outfitted van is potentially dangerous for baby Camillah’s ongoing condition.

Jusino Insurance Services, a full service firm serving families from two locations in Chicago, IL, has announced a new partnership with a local family as the latest campaign in their ongoing community enrichment program. Baby Camillah has conditions requiring numerous therapy and doctor visits, some of which pose a danger to her just simply by transporting her. A wheelchair accessible van is desperately needed, and donations for the family are now being accepted at

As her family says, “Camillah is a delicate flower, but a tough cookie!” Camillah was born with a congenital heart defect and fully a dozen other conditions, including epilepsy, developmental disability and brain ischemia. Currently, the family’s greatest struggle is transporting Camillah safely to her countless doctor and therapeutic appointments. It is feared that transferring her in and out of a car seat will worsen her scoliosis, as well as making it difficult to tend to her along the way. A wheelchair accessible van would protect this sweet child’s delicate body and allow someone to administer to her needs during longer transports.

“We can only imagine the difficulties faced by this brave family,” said Lisa Jusino, owner of Jusino Insurance Services. “Their struggles are precisely why we created our Community Program. Caring neighbors simply must help and support each other through difficult times. After all, today it’s baby Camillah’s crisis; tomorrow it could be one of our own.”

Putting their money where their mouth is, Jusino Insurance itself has pledged to donate $10 to the cause for each and every person recommended to the agency for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary. Anyone willing to help spread the word about this worthy campaign may recommend someone they know for a new insurance evaluation for their auto, home, life, and more. The agency is also hard at work mobilizing it’s network of business and personal contacts, as well as utilizing social media to rally the community behind baby Camillah’s van. They have also dedicated a full page of their monthly magazine to spotlighting the initiative. Our Hometown magazine is delivered to thousands of households in Chicago and surrounding areas, and readers are invited to view the electronic version here:
